Welcome to DX-VID. By using the DX-VID system, including its hardware and any associated software or services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Use of Service

  • DX-VID is intended solely for dental professionals in Australia to assist with clinical videography, diagnostics, documentation, patient education, and case presentation. You agree to:
  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes in accordance with professional, ethical, and legal obligations;

  • Comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and other relevant laws when capturing or storing patient information;

  • Obtain informed consent from patients before recording procedures.

 

2. User Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe and proper use of DX-VID hardware, including secure attachment to X-ray units;

  • Protect patient privacy and confidentiality at all times;

  • Maintain control of any data captured and ensure secure storage if using cloud or app services.


3. Account and Access (if
applicable)

  • If software or cloud services are used, you are responsible for keeping login credentials secure;

  • You must not share accounts or permit unauthorized access.

 

4. Intellectual Property

  • DX-VID and its licensors retain all rights to software, hardware designs, trademarks, and documentation;

  • You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written permission.

 

5. Privacy and Data

  • DX-VID does not automatically store patient information unless explicitly configured in software/cloud systems;

  • Users are responsible for ensuring any collected data complies with Australian privacy laws and clinic policies;

  • Refer to DX-VID’s Privacy Policy for detailed information on how personal and health information is handled.

 

6. Warranties and Consumer Rights

  • DX-VID hardware and software are provided “as is” for professional use;

  • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), including guarantees that cannot be excluded by law;

  • DX-VID does not guarantee continuous operation or compatibility with all devices.

 

7. Limitations of Liability

  • To the extent permitted by law, DX-VID is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including clinical outcomes based on recorded videos;

  • Users assume responsibility for all clinical decisions.

 

8. Modifications to Service or Terms

  • DX-VID may update the Service or these Terms at any time.

  • Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

 

9. Termination

  • DX-VID may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, act unlawfully, or engage in unsafe use.

 

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and any disputes must be resolved in Australian courts.
